Job Description

About the role HealthFitness is looking for part-time (working approximately 10 hours per week) Group Swim Lesson Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at the Advocate Good Shepherd Club, managed by HealthFitness in Barrington, IL. Swim instructor experience is strongly preferred, particularly with young children and teaching in both private and group environments. Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons. Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 17 years old. Adult & Child CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days. Must have a strong swim background. Proficiency in all swim strokes. Flu vaccination required during the Fall season. Compensation for this role is commission-based or the equivalent of $30/hr - $35/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
