We are looking for passionate, reliable Youth Soccer Coaches to lead training sessions and support our growing network of school-based programs, community leagues, recreational teams, and club divisions across the South Side of Chicago. Whether you are coaching after-school programs, community youth leagues, or club teams, you will play a vital role in building accessible soccer, fostering teamwork, and destroying pay-to-play barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

Run Training Sessions:

Lead structured, engaging practices during weekday afternoons or evenings, focusing on skill-building, teamwork, and fun.

Player & Team Development:

Help evaluate players, structure age-appropriate groups, and instill a strong technical foundation for beginners and experienced players alike.

Manage Games:

Coach during weekend or weekday matches, ensuring fair playing time, sportsmanship, and a competitive yet supportive environment.

Community Engagement:

Build positive relationships with players, families, and school or community partners.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

Background playing soccer (recreational, school, or club level) and experience working with children (coaching, teaching, camp counseling, or mentoring).

Energy & Reliability:

A positive, energetic personality with a commitment to showing up on time and supporting the team consistently.

Communication:

Ability to connect with youth players and communicate effectively with parents and program coordinators.

Preferred Qualifications:

USSF Grassroots License or higher(comparable license from pthr federation), and bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities are a plus, but not required.

Position Details:

Hours:

2 to 10+ hours per week depending on team and site assignments.

Locations:
