DOQ JOB SUMMARY
Interested in joining our racquet sports team? We are seeking qualified instructors for Pickleball, Platform Tennis, and Tennis to provide instruction for our participants. Instructors are responsible for instructing participants various skills and drills for each sport. Duties include but are not limited to developing and facilitating activities and drills, court set-up and takedown, group lessons, private lessons, and creating a fun, friendly environment for participants to learn the game. Programs include both youth and adult lessons. Pickleball programs run year round, Platform Tennis programs run Winter/Spring/Fall, and Tennis programs run Spring/Summer/Fall.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
The ideal candidate will have a passion for racquet sports, be self-motivated and have an outgoing energetic personality. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with participants and their parents, staff, and the public are essential. First Aid/CPR/AED certified highly desired (GEPD will provide this training when needed). Previous playing and/or coaching experience is required. High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
