Naperville/Aurora Seasonal / Part-Time Mondays & Thursdays | 6:30-9:00 PM 6-week season beginning September 28 i9 Sports is looking for an energetic, dependable Youth Volleyball Coach to coach a team in our upcoming girls volleyball league. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young athletes and wants to help players improve their volleyball skills while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. What You'll Do Coach and lead a team throughout our 6-week volleyball league Provide instruction and coaching before and during games Help players develop fundamental volleyball skills Manage player rotations and substitutions to create fair playing opportunities Keep players engaged, organized, and encouraged Teach teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship Work with i9 Sports staff and other coaches to create a positive game-day environment Help with basic setup and breakdown as needed Schedule Mondays and Thursdays 6:30 PM-9:00 PM The league runs for 6 weeks beginning Monday, September 28 .

Schedule exception:

The gym is unavailable on Thursday, October 29 , so that week's Thursday session will instead be played on Tuesday, October 27 . Candidates should be able to commit to the full season. What We're Looking For Volleyball playing, coaching, or instructional experience Experience working with children or teens strongly preferred Positive, energetic, and patient personality Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable and punctual Comfortable coaching athletes with different experience and skill levels Able to create a fun environment while still providing structure and instruction Previous formal coaching experience is helpful, but we are also interested in former volleyball players, college students, teachers, and others with strong volleyball knowledge who enjoy working with kids. About i9 Sports i9 Sports provides youth sports programs focused on fun, development, inclusion, and sportsmanship . Our goal is to help kids learn the game, build confidence, and succeed in life through sports. We're looking for coaches who understand that youth sports should be competitive enough to be exciting, but positive enough that every player wants to come back next week.
