Our team is known for its supportive coaching staff, strong community, and dedication to swimmer development.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Swim Coach to support our head coach in developing swimmers across various age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for someone passionate about swimming, with a strong knowledge of technique, conditioning, and competitive strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and leading swim practices for designated groups.
  • Provide feedback and instruction to swimmers on technique, starts, turns, and strokes.
  • Help design and implement workout plans tailored to swimmers' abilities and goals.
  • Support swimmers during competitions and swim meets.
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment while maintaining discipline and safety.
  • Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff to ensure consistent coaching practices and meet team goals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous coaching experience or competitive swimming background preferred.
  • Knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and training principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation:
$16 Hourly Rate, commensurate with experience. How to
