Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Soccer Coaches to join our experienced coaching staff at Sting FC. This role involves guiding young athletes through soccer activities, fostering teamwork, and promoting physical activity in a competitive and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for soccer, experience working with children, and a strong understanding of coaching techniques and methodologies. Previous coaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities Serving as a role model for the players while providing a safe environment for the players' growth Coach's embody dedication, commitment, passion, and growth mindset Ability to plan and lead 2-3 practices/week/team along with all league games and tournaments throughout the year Communicating with the D.O.C regarding players' development Provide player feedback to parents throughout the year Teach fundamental skills, improve players tactical IQ/decision making, and sportsmanship to players of various ages Manage the team environment and promote positive interactions among players and parents Communicate effectively with players and families Create a positive game day experience for all involved Requirements Prior coaching experience in competitive soccer is preferred USSF License or equivalent Coach players from U7 through U19 age groups Candidates must pass a criminal background check, have a valid driver license, be a US citizen or hold permanent resident status.
