JOB SUMMARY
Swim Instructors will provide swimming instruction to students of various ages and ability levels. The Swim Instructor is responsible for maintaining an enjoyable, safe and effective aquatic environment.
Duties include:
providing swim lessons and evaluating students' progress, interacting with parents/guardians on the activities and development of the students' swim skills, supervising of pool facility and patrons, rule enforcement, and customer service. Responsibilities also include performing of basic maintenance duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
The best applicants will have a friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to demonstrate a safety consciousness. Ideal candidates must understand the limitations of the students and make every effort to accommodate each student's individual needs. Jeff Ellis Swimming Program & CPR certification training is provided, and you will be paid for your time spent completing the certification training. Lifeguard certification is not required to apply. Lifeguard certification training will be made available, and it is encouraged upon hiring. Regular and reliable attendance is a must.
SCHEDULING & PAY
This is a part-time, year-round position with a variable work schedule. Scheduling is flexible, but the typical work schedule is approximately 3-4 shifts per week (about 10-15 hours per week). Available shifts include weekday evenings and weekend mornings. Hiring rate is $18.00 per hour.
