Job Overview Top Pick Athletics is looking to add three Year-Round Baseball Skills Instructors to our team. We are seeking knowledgeable, dependable, and energetic individuals for hitting, pitching, and fielding who are passionate about baseball and enjoy helping athletes develop their skills and confidence. Our trainers work with athletes through private lessons, small-group instruction, and other baseball programming throughout the year. Company Description Top Pick Athletics is a locally owned and operated multisport training facility serving Fox Valley athletes, teams, and the community. Top Pick started in North Aurora In 2011, with the goal of creating a space for budding and experienced athletes alike to learn, train and grow in their sports. It was run by former athletes with the knowledge and passion to train. This endeavor led dozens of athletes towards their potential in baseball, softball, and football. In 2016, a group of investors purchased Top Pick Athletics and built a new facility to house it located in Sugar Grove, IL. This new facility is big, clean, bright, contains sophisticated technology to improve performance, new equipment, and is run professionally to meet the needs of the Fox Valley community and its young athletes. In 2019 Top Pick started its own travel baseball teams, and still welcomes and invites outside teams, programs, and individual athletes to use our facility. Top Pick has what discerning athletes need as they train to become the best they can be. Top Pick exists for the beginner wanting to learn the basics to the most advanced athletes looking to take their skills to the highest level.

www.toppickathlectics.com Responsibilities Lead dynamic baseball skills clinics and individual coaching sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels Develop customized training plans that focus on fundamental techniques such as hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running Conduct a fun, motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth Communicate regularly with parents and clients about progress, goals, and upcoming programs Manage behavior and maintain discipline among participants to create a positive learning environment Collaborate with other sports instructors to integrate cross-training activities like soccer or basketball when appropriate Experience Prior experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly preferred Demonstrated sports coaching experience in baseball or related team sports Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team leadership Knowledge of health club operations or gym experience is advantageous Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus Position Details Anywhere from 2-5 evenings per week, typically between 4:00-9:00pm Potential for weekend availability Year-round training opportunities Lessons and program instruction Highly competitive compensation Join us as a Year-Round Baseball Skills Instructor and help shape the next generation of athletes!
