In this dynamic role, you will lead and grow a competitive cheer program while supporting the academic and personal success of student-athletes. You'll oversee all aspects of the program-from recruiting and training to scheduling, budgeting, and fundraising-while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with NCAA Division III values.

What You'll Do:

Lead, coach, and mentor student-athletes; plan and conduct practices and training sessions Recruit and retain student-athletes committed to both athletic and academic success Monitor and support student-athlete eligibility in collaboration with campus partners Develop and manage program budget, equipment, travel, and scheduling logistics Execute recruitment and retention strategies; track and report program outcomes Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies Promote team visibility through collaboration with athletics communications and campus events Foster a culture of sportsmanship, safety, and accountability

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree or relevant coaching experience preferred Experience in NCAA Division III athletics (as coach or student-athlete) preferred CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student-athlete development Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel Why Manchester University?
