Job Description
The HS Girls Basketball Assistant Coach supports the head coach in leading student-athletes and promoting a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
This role includes helping plan and run practices, teaching fundamental skills, supervising students during all team activities, and reinforcing expectations for sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic responsibility.
The assistant coach collaborates closely with the head coach, communicates appropriately with families, and upholds all school, league, and KSHSAA guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring student safety, modeling professionalism, and representing the school with integrity at all competitions and events.
