This energetic role is perfect for passionate sports professionals eager to lead, motivate, and develop gymnasts of varying skill levels. You will deliver expert coaching, foster a positive environment, and help athletes achieve their personal best through engaging training sessions and skill development. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with talented young athletes in a vibrant, supportive setting dedicated to excellence and growth. Duties Design and implement comprehensive gymnastics training programs tailored to individual skill levels and goals Lead engaging coaching sessions that emphasize proper technique, safety, and progressive skill development Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement Ensure all training activities comply with safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and spotting techniques Foster a positive team environment by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and motivation among athletes Maintain detailed records of athlete progress, attendance, and training milestones Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding athlete development, behavior, and achievements Skills Proven experience coaching gymnastics at Level 9/10 or equivalent skill level Strong background in sports coaching, including gymnastics-specific training instruction Excellent communication skills for effective client (athlete and parent) interaction Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and manage young athletes effectively Knowledge of safety procedures, including AED operation, first aid, and CPR certification Experience working with children and managing behavior in a sports setting Familiarity with other sports such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, judo or karate is a plus Ability to teach physical education concepts clearly and confidently Background in sports team leadership or coaching in health clubs or gyms is advantageous Skills in behavior management to foster discipline while maintaining a positive atmosphere Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise transforms young gymnasts into confident athletes.
