In this role, you will lead practices, develop game strategies, and motivate players to achieve their full potential both on and off the court. Your enthusiasm, leadership, and sports expertise will create a positive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Duties Plan and execute engaging basketball practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Develop game strategies and provide tactical guidance during competitions to maximize team performance Foster a supportive environment that encourages confidence, discipline, and respect among players Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to ensure clear understanding of team goals and expectations Monitor player progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement Promote safety protocols during practices and games, including first aid procedures and AED operation when necessary Organize team events, tournaments, and community outreach activities to build team spirit and community engagement Experience Prior coaching experience in basketball or other sports teams is helpful but not required Demonstrated leadership skills in working with children or youth groups Knowledge of basketball rules and strategies is helpful but not required Background in sports coaching certifications or relevant training programs is advantageous Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster positive team dynamics Strong communication skills to effectively connect with players of all ages and backgrounds Join us as a Girls Basketball Coach to ignite passion for sports, develop lifelong skills, and contribute to a vibrant community of young athletes!
