Provides private swimming instruction and leads aquatic activities for various populations.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops aquatic programs and activities for populations of varying age, interest, and ability. Instructs individuals or groups in swimming and aquatic activities. Monitors pool area for safety violations and persons in distress and responds appropriately. Provides underwater video analysis and instruction for various populations when appropriate.
Skills and Attributes:
Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Position Requirements:
Work Experience No experience required Education High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid Certification required within 90 days of employment in this position
