Swim Instructor

We are excited to find the perfect candidates to join our growing team at The Pool School! Our ideal candidate would be a highly energetic, fun loving and kid friendly person, excited to help teach swim lessons to area children and adults. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right candidates to be capable and confident in teaching private, one on one swim lessons. Chosen individuals must be willing and prepared to work in the swimming pool each work day. Instructors will be trained through observation hours at the pool, online instructional courses, and in pool training with a lead instructor. We'd like to have these trainees ready to teach independently within a month or 6 weeks of hire. Other duties may include responding to messages, keeping up with payment schedules, inserting data into Excel, collecting money, light facility cleaning. We are looking for someone who would be available to work 2-3 days a week for shifts that are around 4 hours long. We can work with you to create an ideal schedule. Once a candidate is trained and ready to teach on their own, hours would remain the same each week. We offer paid training, with an increase in pay once instructor is teaching independently. We are happy to provide room to increase pay as employee shows commitment to our program.
