This person will provide support for the Ashland volleyball program. Candidate will be the head coach for the JV volleyball team and assistant coach to the varsity team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting competitive varsity volleyball program In charge of running JV practices/ training sessions Coordinate with athletic administration and head varsity coach Communicate openly with parents of players Assist with practices, etc. when combined with varsity or freshmen Help as needed with equipment management Help as needed with uniform distribution, organization, and retrieval Assist in setting up/taking down the gym for home matches Participate in athletic department coaches meetings Responsible for creating a positive environment where athletes can build strong relationships with other players and coaches Demonstrate good sportsmanship and maintain appropriate conduct towards the student-athletes, opposing team, officials, spectators, etc. Other duties as assigned
