Job Summary Join Longfellow's dynamic team as a Swim Instructor and inspire confidence, safety, and a love for swimming in learners of all ages! In this energetic role, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons that promote water safety, skill development, and physical fitness. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students achieve their goals while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through sports coaching, childcare, and physical education instruction. Duties Conduct engaging swim lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Ensure the safety of all participants by monitoring water activities and enforcing pool rules Use effective communication skills to motivate students and provide constructive feedback Manage behavior and foster a supportive environment for children and adults alike Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Qualifications Prior lifeguard experience and certification in
WSI, CPR, AED
operation, and first aid is preferred. Demonstrated swimming proficiency with the ability to teach swimming techniques confidently Experience working with children in a coaching or childcare setting preferred Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate leadership qualities Join us in creating a fun, safe, and motivating space where learners develop essential water skills! Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
