This position will report to The Gymnastics Director and Shrewsbury Club Upper Management. This position will work with the gymnastics director on team and rec gymnastics. This is a perfect position for a driven, growth orientated gymnastics coach who fully understands the importance of the constant acquisition of new young gymnasts, and the retention and progression of current gymnasts. This is an opportunity to further develop knowledge of the business side of a gymnastics club & coaching. We will offer advanced coaching and tutoring of the business knowledge necessary to run a highly successful and profitable Gymnastics program. Priorities Any Shrewsbury Club Gymnastics Coach understands the importance of a positive team approach to the workplace and will always ensure she and the direct reports under her supervision embody the company's core values. It is expected that all gymnastics staff are actively engaged in the fulfillment of our mission statement to the customer/clients. Responsible for assisting in any aspects of coaching and administrating The Shrewsbury Club Elite Gymnastics Academy. Responsible for assisting to grow the Recreational Gymnastics program with the Director of Gymnastics and any other assigned Gymnastics programming. Responsible exceeding monthly participation and enrollment goals. Responsible for exceeding client expectations for service and for exceeding client expectations for instruction at every interaction. Required to constantly maintain up to date and accurate attendance records. Required to work a varied schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays. Required to receive feedback in a positive manner. The Shrewsbury Club Elite Gymnastics Academy Coaches Must be open to constructive criticism, development and direction from Club Owner, General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Gymnastics Director, Gymnastics Administrator, & or Financial Controller. The Shrewsbury Club Elite Gymnastics Academy Coaches and all technical staff (Personal Trainers, Tennis Pro's, Baseball Coaches, Gymnastics Coaches, Swim Coaches) are required to sign and abide by The Shrewsbury Clubs Non-Compete Agreement. Required to assist in the Gymnastics department maintain an immaculate facility. Required with the Assistant Gymnastics Director to Schedule, administer, and supervise (when necessary) all competitions or meets. Required to when needed enforce all club policies for all staff, members and guests. The Shrewsbury Club Elite Gymnastics Coach's must maintain current and up to date CPR & First Aid certifications. Responsible to always be respectful and aggressively friendly and engaging to any clients (gymnastics or not) and staff. Responsible for assisting the gymnastics director in the Supervising, training, developing all coaches and gymnastics staff. Responsible for Improving the physical condition, supervising, and suggesting injury prevention techniques for gymnasts under the departments care. Responsible for the daily set-up and take-down of gymnastics equipment. Required to continue their personal development and gymnastics education to further enhance all programming. Required to constantly expressing great enthusiasm for the club, and all programming within. The Shrewsbury Club Elite Gymnastics Academy Coach is required Perform any duties assigned by Owner, General Manager Assistant General Manager, Financial Controller to the standard required by them and with good grace and a positive attitude. Job Requirements Must have three or more years of gymnastics coaching experience at or above high school level, Some administrative and managerial experience is required. Hold and maintain at least one nationally recognized certification in gymnastics coaching.
