Varsity Volleyball CoachTANTASQUA REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

2026-2027Anticipated Start Date:
August 24, 2026. Reports to :Principal & Athletic Director Responsibilities:
Demonstrated commitment to supporting the development of students on and off the playing field. Coaching positions are seasonal and paid by stipend at the end of season.Essential Functions:
The Freshman Volleyball Coach works with student-athletes to develop fundamental skills, preparing athletes for varsity-level competition, and promoting a positive, team-centered environment:- Must have a strong understanding of the sport of volleyball.
- Ability to effectively communicate with student-athletes and parents.
- Strong motivational and support skills.
- Ability to create and run effective practices to help improve player development.
- Manage all aspects of Freshman games, including lineups, substitutions, in-game instruction, and situational strategy.
- Must take the team bus to and from away games.
- Collaborate closely with the Varsity & JV Coaches to help support the long-term success of the volleyball program.
Qualifications:
If Hired:
Must take any coaches certification courses required by the Athletic Director.- At least one year of successful coaching experience is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Approved CORI and fingerprint-based state and national criminal background results.
