Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks an Assistant Varsity Coach for the Girls' Cross Country 2026 fall season. The 2026 fall season runs from Monday, August 24 through early November. Practices are generally after school. This successful program has varsity and junior varsity levels. Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to): The assistant coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching a cross country team and assisting the varsity coach while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA.
Expectations:
Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course Ability to drive the school van to away games Ability to work with high school population Understanding of high school sports operations Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Understands the importance of fun in high school athletics Be prepared, punctual and ethical
Experience Preferred:
Experience coaching Cross Country Experience competing in Cross Country at the high school level or higher Stipend Range per
