Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated Associate Head Coach to join our dynamic sports and recreation team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement training programs, foster a positive team environment, and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your coaching expertise while making a meaningful impact on our up and coming program. Duties Participate in planning, organizing, and executing practices. Help run the bench for 1-2 games on the weekends. Support team leadership by motivating athletes, managing behavior, and fostering a competitive environment. Assist in coordinating team logistics such as scheduling practices, games, competitions, bus schedules and special events. Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance assessments, and safety incidents to support ongoing development efforts. Help recruit players from high school and junior hockey. Experience Demonstrated playing or coaching experience at the high school level or above is required. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction and team coordination. Availability. The team relies on the coaches to be present at all practices (twice a week in the evenings) and all games (1-2 per weekend). All applicants must clear a background check including a CORI. Must be USA Hockey Certified to coach in the ACHA.

Pay:

$4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per year
