Assistant Cross Country Coach (SY 26-27) (Stipend)

Stipend Time Commitment:
The team meets six days a week The hours are about 15-20 hours per week The team has one meeting per week Season Length•8/24/2025-11/9/2025

SUMMARY :
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding assistant coach to coach the cross country team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Coach the team they are assigned to. Assume the duties of the head coach when the head coach is not present. Assist in coaching at practice and games. Implement practice plans. Oversee scouting of opposition. Be a liaison between the captains and the head coach. Coordinate with the athletic office on rostering, awards, and medical issues.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
CPR Certified NFHS concussion course completed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
