Make a positive difference in the lives of kids and their families every day! This position could be part time 22-25 hr/wk (3 weekday affternoons plus Sundays) or Full time (4 weekdays plus Sundays). Seeking a head coach / Program Director who is energetic, positive, self-motivated seeking a fun and challenging career opportunity working with children. Teach great classes, and support the team with curriculum, quality, training, and safety opportunities. Job Summary The person selected will be part of our key leadership team, teaching exceptional classes, provide world class customer service, and support our exceptional team here at The Little Gym. You will spend the first several months learning about all aspects of the business. Expect to spend a lot of time training and learning to teach exceptional classes here, using our program and curriculum developed over the past 50 years! Working in a small business will also give you an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial and creative skills to grow the business and the team! Job Responsibilities Teach the BEST classes according to The Little Gym standards and philosophies using provided lesson plans and training materials. Make sure the children stay safe, grow skills, and have fun! Build member enrollment through effective communication of our premier program and philosophy and help inspire everybody on the Team to do the same Develop a thorough understanding of The Little Gym philosophy and program Maintain positive work environment and team morale Ensure all safety guidelines are met and maintained, creating a safe environment for the team and our members Deliver superior customer service Build long lasting and genuine relationships with The Little Gym families Help lead the business with Curriculum Support, Class Quality, Training management, and the Safety program too. Occasionally work at grass roots and other community events
Requirements:
Loves kids and loves being a teacher. Relate well to parents, students, and peers, with excellent communication skills. Friendly, positive attitude. Eager to provide great customer service Background with gymnastics, cheer, dance, or other related sports High energy and a lot of enthusiasm Creative, hardworking and passionate Strong attention to detail, organization skills and able to multi-task
Pay:
$21.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
gymnastics, cheer, sports and/or dance: 3 years (Preferred) working with children: 2 years (Preferred)
