Strength & Conditioning Coach (Part-Time)
Impact Sports Lab Locations:
Woburn, MA (Summer) → Woburn & Northborough, MA (Starting September)Compensation:
$30-$45/hour (based on experience, coaching level, and location) About Impact Sports Lab Impact Sports Lab is a high-performance training environment built for athletes who are serious about their development. We specialize in athletic development and performance mindset training, working with middle school, high school, collegiate, and elite athletes.Our mission is simple:
help athletes perform at their highest level, physically and mentally. Position Overview We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team this summer in Woburn, with the opportunity to expand into both Woburn and Northborough locations in the fall. This role is ideal for a coach who thrives in a high-energy environment, values intentional training, and is passionate about developing athletes long-term. Coaches should be comfortable leading sessions that range from small groups and 1:1 training to larger team-based environments , while maintaining high standards of coaching quality and engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead and assist training sessions ranging from 1:1, small groups, to full team sessions Deliver structured programming focused on: Speed & acceleration Strength & power development Agility & change of direction Injury prevention & movement quality Adapt coaching style and communication based on group size and athlete needs Create an engaging, high-performance training environment Build strong relationships with athletes and families Collaborate with performance staff, including sport psychology and mental skills coaches Maintain a professional, organized, and accountable coaching presence Qualifications Previous experience coaching athletes (middle school through high school preferred) Experience working with both small groups and team settings preferred Strong understanding of strength & conditioning principles and movement mechanics Experience with speed and agility training is a plus CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) Positive energy, strong communication skills, and attention to detail What We're Looking For Coaches who bring intentionality and presence to every session Ability to command a room while still connecting individually with athletes Individuals who can scale their coaching across different group sizes without losing quality Team players who align with a growth mindset and athlete-first approach Schedule Summer (Woburn): Flexible part-time hours (morning, afternoon, and evening availability preferred) Fall (Woburn + Northborough): Expanded opportunities based on performance and availabilityPay:
