Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tennis Coach for the Summer and Fall seasons! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop players of all ages and skill levels. As a Tennis Coach, you will lead engaging lessons, organize competitive matches, and foster a positive environment that promotes growth, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help participants improve their skills while creating memorable experiences on the court. This paid position is perfect for passionate sports enthusiasts eager to share their love of tennis and physical activity with others. •
MUST HAVE PRIOR TENNIS TEACHING EXPERIENCE
•Duties Plan and deliver engaging tennis lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, emphasizing proper technique, strategy, and sportsmanship Organize and oversee friendly matches, tournaments, and practice sessions to encourage teamwork and healthy competition Provide coaching on tennis fundamentals such as serving, volleying, footwork, and game tactics Monitor participants' progress and offer constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of equipment and court safety measures Maintain a positive, inclusive environment that promotes respect, motivation, and enjoyment for all players Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding participant development and upcoming events Skills Proven experience in tennis coaching or playing at a competitive level with strong technical knowledge of the sport Must have high energy and a passion for the sport while driven to help others Ability to teach physical skills such as serving, rallying, footwork, and game strategy effectively to diverse age groups Excellent communication skills to motivate players and collaborate with team members and parents Experience working with children or youth in sports or educational settings Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster a respectful and disciplined environment Candidates must be professional, timely, responsible, team oriented, motivated, and inspired to coach Certification from recognized agencies (PTR, RSPA, ITF) or willingness to attain/maintain Must have reliable transportation Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where players can thrive!
