Full Job Description About Us:
MASI Sports Academy delivers high energy, structured youth leadership and sports performance programs across the DMV. We're not just a sports program —we teach character, ownership, and responsibility through basketball, flag football, soccer, and performance training, using a proven, structured curriculum.What You'll Do:
Lead sessions for students elementary/middle school students using our Coach Guide — every drill, rep, and discussion topic is already scripted for you. Run daily warm-ups, skill development, and small-sided games/competition. Facilitate short character and stewardship discussions with students. Track student attendance on a simple student checklist. Create a positive, structured, high-energy environment every session.What You Don't Need:
No coaching certification or elite playing background required. Our curriculum is built so a responsible, engaged adult can run a high-quality session without prior training experience — the system does the heavy lifting. No prior classroom/teaching experience required, though it's a plus.What You Do Need:
Must be 18+ and pass a background check/clearance for the relevant county (PGCPS, MCPS, and/or BCPS) — we'll guide you through this process. Comfortable being active and on your feet for multi-hour sessions. Reliable, on time, and able to commit to a full season once started. Genuine enjoyment working with elementary and middle school student. Foundational sports familiarity in at least one of: basketball, flag football, or soccer.Hourly Rate:

After-school hours (Tuesdays- Thursdays, between 3:00 PM
- 6:00 PM or district-specific afterschool hours] or school hours (Thursdays, between 10 AM
