Job Summary This full-time (C2) assistant coaching position plays a vital role in the success of Salisbury University's varsity athletic programs. The assistant coach is actively involved in all aspects of the recruitment and retention of student-athletes, contributing to both the competitive excellence and the academic success of the team. Salisbury University is seeking a qualified individual to assist the Head Coach with all aspects of leading competitive NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Swimming programs. This full-time (C2) assistant coaching position requires a strong commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes, including on-field preparation, academic achievement, and active community involvement. The successful candidate will support the program while ensuring strict adherence to NCAA Division III bylaws and the standards of Salisbury University Athletics. Authority and Accountability This position reports directly to the Head Swim Coach and ultimately to the Director of Athletics and Campus Recreation. The position provides supervision for student workers and contractual assistant coaches, but does not have budgetary responsibility. Required/Minimum Qualifications 1-3 Years collegiate coaching experience Experience in recruitment and retention of student athletes Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Teamworks software experience Workday Experience Experience navigating NCAA rules and eligibility requirements
