Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, NDP is rooted in tradition but contemporary in education empowering its students to become women who transform the world. The right candidates will enjoy working in a mission-driven, religious educational setting. Employment is part-time/seasonal, beginning mid-February 2027.
Approximate season dates:
February16, 2027 to May 12, 2027. Work effort is approximately 10 - 15 hours per week.
Overview:
Qualified candidates will coach the team, coordinate and organize team selections, plan and execute practice sessions, manage game day preparation and in-game coaching and execution as well as manage team communications.
Responsibilities:
Attend and run daily practice from 3:30pm - 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays per week. Potential morning or weekend practices, if needed. Attend team's games, typically weekdays throughout the season. Work with a group of adolescent athletes in coaching assigned sport and life skills. Potential to assist with sports camps in off-season (school breaks, summer, etc.) The ideal candidate will possess: High school coaching experience. Experience as a competitive athlete at the high school or college level. CPR certifications preferred. Willingness to work collaboratively with student athletes, coaching staff, athletics staff and parents. Strong communication and organizational skills.
