POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Women's Basketball Coach will have strong communication skills, have a passion for Division III athletics/student-athletes and a belief in the Division III philosophy. The coach will be committed to program development and the overall development of Saint Josephs College student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of the program, i.e - recruiting student-athletes who meet Saint Josephs College admissions standards, scheduling, conditioning, scouting, practice planning and budget preparation. The coach will also assist the Head Coach with various duties including: conducting small group workouts, scouting opponents, data entry, recruiting, camps/clinics and travel logistics. The coach will maintain full compliance with Saint Josephs College, NCAA and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference rules and regulations.

If job duties require driving a College vehicle, a valid drivers license, successful completion of SJC driver training program and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record check must be completed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
