Sports Teaching Full Job Description Required Qualifications:

Successful coaching experience, preferably at the high school level. Alternate qualifications may be considered. Meet requirements for a background check and fingerprinting.

Job Requirements, Knowledge, and Skills:

Background that includes a high level of football knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of best practices in coaching. Experience working as part of a collaborative team. A successful candidate will be able to: Relate to and instruct student-athletes in large groups, small groups, and individualized settings. Develop and use strategies to improve individual and team play. Ability to work cooperatively with administration and staff. Possess strong organizational, motivational, discipline, and fundamental teaching skills. Work with other coaches by supporting and encouraging students to participate in other sports. Able to communicate with players, parents, and other coaches. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure student success and a positive school climate.
