Job Summary Schoolcraft College presents outstanding swim programs and seeks a skilled Learn to Swim Instructor to join our team. If you excel in your craft and are eager to inspire others in the realm of water fitness, we invite you to become part of our team. Our Personal & Professional Learning division delivers a diverse range of non-credit classes and programs tailored for adult and senior learners. Our classes are led by experts in their respective fields, ensuring high-quality instruction and enriching experiences for all participants. The mission of Schoolcraft College is to provide a transformational and inclusive learning experience designed to increase the capacity of all individuals and groups to achieve intellectual, social, and economic goals. We are committed to creating a positive impact on the communities we serve and value diversity in our students, staff, and programming. Job Duties Instill safety protocols and enhance stroke proficiency among students in levels ranging from water shy to advanced. Adhere to the Schoolcraft curriculum for structured learning. Conduct thorough assessments to gauge readiness for progression to higher swim levels Required Qualifications Life-guarding and CPR/First Aid certifications. Experience teaching youth & adult swim classes.
