A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.
Prior Successful Coaching Experience preferred Ability to effectively communicate with all audiences Evidence of strong leadership ability CPR certification & first aid training

Performance Expectations:
Adheres to the rules, regulations, and policies of the MHSAA and the Board of Education Promotes and practices positive sportsmanship Is prompt and accurate in submitting all required reports Develops a good rapport with parents, patrons, assistants, teachers, and administrators Works with other staff to assist athletes in maintaining eligibility Works with the varsity coach to develop the program Always uses appropriate language; and is well-groomed, appropriately dressed and presents a good appearance.
