Job Description

SUMMARY Assistant Volleyball Coach for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Spring Arbor University is a member of the Crossroads League and the NAIA. Nine month, part-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assistant coaching responsibilities of varsity volleyball team and oversight of the reserve volleyball team, including recruiting, scheduling, practice organization, team travel arrangements, and player development. Other duties as assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the supervision of student workers to meet the needs of the department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience coaching and/or playing volleyball at the collegiate level. Bachelor's degree preferred.
