We train you on our system, so you don't need years of experience to start. About us Drees Performance Training is a volleyball and sports performance gym in Burnsville, MN. We've trained more than 1,000 athletes, ages 9 through pro, and most are teenage girls who play volleyball. Every athlete starts with testing, gets a program built for her, and retests to show what changed. The results are hers. We make sure the coaching is good. What you'll do
  • Coach small-group sessions (8 athletes max, a coach on every set)
  • Teach lifts, jumps, sprint and landing technique
  • Run our readiness check before each session and adjust the plan for the day
  • Log workouts and testing results
  • Talk with athletes and parents in plain words Must have
  • Experience coaching or playing sports, and comfort in a weight room
  • Solid technique on the basic lifts, or the drive to learn it
  • Good with teenagers, on time, and coachable yourself Nice to have
  • Degree or coursework in exercise science, kinesiology or a related field
  • Certification such as NSCA-CPT, CSCS, NASM or ACE
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Volleyball experience
Training:
we train you on our coaching system before you lead sessions, and you work alongside an experienced coach at the start.
Schedule:
part-time. After-school evenings and weekend mornings are typical.
Pay:
$22 to $30 per hour.
