  • 27 base points or $3,915 base contract rate.
QUALIFICATIONS

East Ridge High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as our Adapted Sports Coach

  • Soccer, Floor Hockey, Softball.

Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience, and related successful experiences in educational leadership. Candidates should be experienced in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the East Ridge mission and vision. A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.

REPORTS TO

East Ridge High School Athletics/Activities Director, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with the High School Principal.

JOB GOALS

To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Concurrently, student-athletes shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and confidence. Coach shall demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport as well as successfully establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.
