ANTICIPATED START DATE
: Immediately upont hire
DETAILS:
Position works the Fall 2026-27 season at Affton High School. Position is contingent upon sufficient participation and the ability to conduct the season.
COMPENSATION
The stipend for this position is a minimum of $3,774.00(prorated.) This is a part-time, temporary, contracted position with no benefits.
JOB SUMMARY
To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem. To provide leadership for a successful team. To promote academic as well as athletic success of student athletes. To assist with maintaining the football program. To maintain positive communication with patrons and parents of athletes and potential athletes. To ensure compliance with MSHSAA in conjunction with the coaching staff. To supervise student-athletes in conjunction with the coaching staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prefers candidate with experience in coaching or supervising students Requires the ability to work with a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural student population Must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association(MSHSAA) requirements for position, including: 1. Educator certification requirements (Preferred - Missouri teaching certificate OR Missouri substitute teaching certificate) 2. Sports First Aid 3. The NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course (if not Missouri teacher certified) All applicants must apply through Affton's PowerSchool Applicant Tracking website at: https://affton.schoolspring.com External candidates must have a resume entered into Applicant Tracking, prior to the closing date , in order to be considered for a position.
