Immediately Job Description Grain Valley Schools has a Middle School Assistant Football Coach position available for the 2026-2027 school year. Valid Substitute Certificate and 60 college credit hours and First Aide Certification required, BSE and previous coaching/playing experience preferred. Grain Valley Activities staff is expected to possess and maintain a moral character in congruence with the expectations of the School District and the Grain Valley Board of Education.
The staff member will:
develop the character of students, establish an environment where participants can gain self-confidence and a positive self-image, possess the ability to communicate positively with students and parents, establish winning programs within the bounds of good sportsmanship. All coaches and sponsors are expected to assist in the development of students in a 365-day program concept and be willing to dedicate themselves throughout the year to the overall growth of students, the program, and the school culture.
