Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated High School Cheerleading Coach to inspire and lead our cheerleading team to excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, boost school spirit, and develop athletic skills among students. As a vital part of our athletic department, you will be responsible for coaching cheerleading routines, promoting positive team dynamics, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for all participants. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help students build confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship while representing their school with pride. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and lead cheerleading practices focusing on choreography, stunts, jumps, and routines aligned with school events and competitions Coach students on proper cheerleading techniques, safety procedures, and teamwork strategies to maximize performance and minimize injury risk Foster a positive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and personal growth among students Coordinate with school staff to schedule practices, games, competitions, and special events Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and confidence Ensure all cheerleading activities adhere to safety standards Experience Previous experience in cheerleading coaching or performing at a competitive or school level is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and teenagers in a sports or educational setting Proven leadership skills in team management, behavior management, and communication with students, parents, and school staff Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or sports coaching are preferred to ensure safety during all activities Join us as a High School Cheerleading Coach to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives!
