Qualifications:
Required:

Current teaching certificate or substitute certificate with 60 college credit hours. Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess some knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students. Must be able to pass background screening including fingerprinting.

Preferred:

Experience in sport required and knowledge of MSHSAA High School swimming.

Provides coaching and direction for student athletes. Assists students in achieving a high level of skill and appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in respective sport.

  • Essential Job Functions:
  • Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
  • Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
  • Ensure the proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of all athletic equipment, uniforms, and updated inventories are maintained.
  • Maintain a safe environment and facilities for student athletes at all times.
  • Other assigned duties.
