Yellowstone Club's Outdoor Pursuits Kids department is seeking candidates for Children's Snowsports Instructor. The purpose of the Children's Instructor is to provide ski instruction to young members ages 2 to 7 years old. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Explain and demonstrate technical ski concepts in a safe, fun, and professional manner using a variety of interactive teaching methods based off of age, learning style, and ability of the student within the guidelines of Yellowstone Club Snowsports School and PSIA. Set lesson plans based on Members and/or guests needs. Summarize with parents at the end of the lesson, to include reviewing skills worked on and progress made. Assist in cleaning of locker room area. Uphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions. Ensure that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.
