The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and experience in coaching or teaching. This role involves working with students of various ages and skill levels, fostering their love for tumble while helping them develop their technical skills and confidence. The tumbling, Cheer Dance Coach will create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages creativity and personal growth. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging tumbling, cheer and dance lessons tailored to the needs of students. Provide instruction in various dance styles, ensuring proper technique and safety. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Organize and lead rehearsals for performances, competitions, or showcases. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a well-rounded program. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants during classes and events. Engage in behavior management techniques to ensure a respectful learning environment. Skills Lifeguard experience is a plus, ensuring safety during aquatic activities if applicable. Background in sports coaching, teaching, or physical education is highly desirable. Proficiency in various disciplines such as majorette, Cheerleading or acrobatics can enhance the coaching experience. Experience working with students of different ages and skill levels is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere. A passion for tumbling and commitment to fostering student development in both technique and confidence.
