Qualification and Special Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have successful experience coaching the sport of the posted position at the secondary level, and be able to attend all practices and games during the season.
Essential Duties and Knowledge:
Responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and coaching instruction. Takes care of sports equipment. Mentores athletes. Able to communicate with the athletes effectively. Able to resolve team issues. Demonstrates professionalism. Fosters a positive environment. Has working knowledge of interscholastic athletic program regulations. Plans coaching sessions. Liaison with the schools and instructors. Communicates with the families of the athletes when necessary.
