POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides on-site coaching and mentoring to improve teacher-child interactions and ensure curriculum fidelity. It creates and implements training in curriculum and child development. For dual language learners, also work with, screen, plan and implement experiences to support English language development.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or related degree. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education. Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking Skillls

EXPERIENCE

Two to five years of experience working with young children in group settings. Head Start/NCPK Development Day experience preferred. Experience and/or knowledge of Practice-Based Coaching preferred. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Thank you for your interest in WNCSource.
