Assistant Football Coach Lexington City Schools - 3.5 Lexington, NC Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications School experience Working with athletes Student mentoring Sports team experience Experience working with high schoolers Coaching high school students Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description The High School Assistant Football Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program, contributing to the development of the student-athletes on and off the field. The position plays a critical role in skill instruction, practice organizaton, game preparation, and fostering a culture of discipline, sportsmanship and accoutabilty. The Assistant Coach is expected to serve as a positive role model and uphold the values and standards of Lexington Senior High School. Qualifications Previous playing or coaching experience at the High School or Collegiate level. Strong Knowledge of Football Fundamentals, rules and strategies Ability to motivate and mentor high school students Preffered to have a teaching license or eligibilty of employment with the school district.
