Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Private Tennis Coach to inspire and develop players of all ages and skill levels. In this role, you will deliver personalized coaching sessions, foster a positive learning environment, and promote a love for tennis through expert instruction. Your passion for sports, strong communication skills, and ability to motivate clients will help elevate their game while ensuring safety and enjoyment on the court. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on players' athletic journeys. Duties Design and deliver tailored tennis coaching sessions that cater to individual skill levels, goals, and learning styles Provide clear instruction on technique, strategy, and sportsmanship to enhance player performance Monitor players' progress through regular assessments and adjust coaching plans accordingly Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing court rules and safety protocols Communicate effectively with clients to set expectations, provide feedback, and foster motivation Demonstrate excellent sports coaching techniques, including drills, game tactics, and physical conditioning Support players' overall development by integrating related skills such as agility, coordination, and mental focus Qualifications Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on tennis or related physical activities Strong background in sports-specific training instruction and team leadership Experience working with children and understanding behavior management strategies Knowledge of first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures Additional skills in swimming, martial arts (such as karate or judo), soccer coaching, basketball, climbing or gym experience are advantageous Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teaching diverse age groups Ability to motivate students while maintaining a positive and energetic coaching style Previous health club or sports team experience is preferred but not required Join us to inspire athletes of all ages through dynamic coaching that emphasizes skill development, safety, and fun!
