Bridgewater, NJ Job Details Part-time $16.50 - $18.50 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Experience working with individuals with disabilities Customer service Working with students Organizational skills Experience working with students with disabilities Time management Full Job Description The Bridgewater JCC is hiring part time group lesson instructors for our full service facility located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. These positions are available for our Fall 2026 session which will begin on Sunday, October 11 and run through Sunday, December 13 from 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM.

Responsibilities include:

Teach group lessons in 30 minute sessions. Evaluate potential students' swimming ability. Develop and maintain weekly lesson plans for students and report progress to parent/caregiver. Work with students at individual pace while encouraging their progress.

Requirements are:

Comfortable and willing to work with students of all ages and abilities, including those in the special needs population. Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or two years' teaching/competitive swimming experience. Training available for qualified candidate. CPR and Lifeguard Certification preferred. Training available for qualified candidate. Must possess good time management skills, good communication and customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
