Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Preschool Sports Coach, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to develop a love for physical activity and teamwork! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging sports-based activities tailored for preschoolers, fostering their motor skills, coordination, and social interaction. Responsibilities Design and deliver age-appropriate sports activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and fun for preschool children Lead sessions in various sports such as soccer, basketball, flag football, T-ball, scoops, and golf to diversify children's experiences Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including operation of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) and first aid/CPR procedures when necessary Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and inclusive environment Communicate clearly with parents or guardians about children's progress and activity participation Collaborate with other staff members to plan curriculum enhancements that integrate sports education with overall child development goals Maintain equipment, track attendance, and ensure the cleanliness of activity areas to uphold high standards of safety and hygiene Experience Prior experience working with young children in educational or recreational settings is essential Demonstrated sports coaching experience across multiple disciplines such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (karate or judo), or swimming Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction and teaching physical education concepts suitable for preschoolers Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Experience in team leadership or coaching roles that require behavior management and motivation techniques Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or health club/gym experience are highly desirable Background in sports team participation or leadership enhances ability to motivate young learners through active engagement Embark on a rewarding journey where your coaching expertise transforms playtime into powerful learning experiences! Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 per week
