Job Description
10 & Under Tennis Coach — Centercourt Tennis Academy Now Hiring | Positions Available Immediately Centercourt Tennis Academy is seeking energetic, professional and motivated coaches to join our 10 & Under Tennis Program . This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a background in tennis, physical education, teaching, youth sports or athletics who enjoy working with young children. We provide extensive on-the-job training, mentoring and internal coach education led by experienced industry professionals. About the Program Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of tennis while helping children develop athletic foundations, confidence, coordination, discipline and valuable life skills. Coaches introduce players to the sport through engaging, age-appropriate instruction and prepare them for future USTA, school and Centercourt development pathways. Key Responsibilities Lead energetic, structured and age-appropriate tennis sessions. Maintain a safe, supportive environment with consistent standards of care. Teach fundamental movement, coordination, rallying, technical and game-based skills. Hand-feed tennis balls accurately within structured teaching progressions. Communicate clearly and positively with players, parents and fellow coaches. Encourage confidence, effort, sportsmanship and enjoyment. Follow Centercourt's curriculum, lesson plans and professional coaching standards. Arrive prepared and on time, and contribute positively to the coaching team. Who We're Looking For Patient, flexible, energetic and reliable individuals with strong professional standards. Clear communicators who can manage, motivate and engage groups of young children. Candidates with a sports, physical education, teaching or athletic background preferred. Tennis playing or basic coaching experience is a significant advantage. Team-oriented individuals who welcome feedback and are committed to continued learning. Training & Career Development Centercourt provides practical on-court training, ongoing mentoring and an internal coach education pathway. Coaches who demonstrate commitment, passion, strong performance and professionalism may have opportunities for additional hours, increased responsibilities and career advancement.
Availability & Compensation Schedule:
Candidates must be available approximately 3:00-7:00 PM on weekdays .Compensation:
