Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Youth Soccer Coach and inspire young athletes to develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game! This energetic role is perfect for passionate sports enthusiasts who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact through sports coaching. As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will lead training sessions, organize games, and foster a fun, safe environment that encourages growth, confidence, and sportsmanship. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help shape the next generation of soccer players while promoting healthy activity and teamwork. Duties Plan and execute engaging soccer training sessions tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead team practices, drills, and scrimmages that emphasize skill development, sportsmanship, and fun Organize and oversee youth soccer games, ensuring fair play and adherence to safety guidelines Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about team progress, schedules, and upcoming events Monitor player behavior on and off the field, implementing behavior management strategies when necessary Ensure all activities are conducted safely by maintaining equipment checks and supervising participants at all times Assist in developing age-appropriate coaching techniques by integrating sports-specific training instruction such as basic tactics and teamwork skills Qualifications Prior experience working with children in sports or educational settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of soccer coaching principles, team leadership, and sports coaching experience Certification in First Aid and CPR (including AED operation) is required; additional certifications in Lifeguard experience or health club environments are a plus Strong communication skills to effectively engage with young athletes, parents, and colleagues Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a motivating environment for all participants Experience working with students in recreational or health club settings is desirable Join us to empower youth through sports! Pay:
$23.95 - $28.85 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 25.0 per week
