Job Description

The Academy of Saint Elizabeth is looking for a Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2026 fall season.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required to be on campus from 2:50 PM until the conclusion of practice and/or for home and away athletic contests, which may occur at night or on weekends. Demonstrated experience and competencies for performance responsibilities. Required employment background check. Must uphold a valid CPR/AED/First Aid certificate (or get certified prior to season).

JOB GOAL

To plan, coordinate, and promote a comprehensive volleyball program that meets the needs and interests of the school community. To provide effective leadership that promotes a positive learning environment and emphasizes the importance of academic achievement, teamwork, and social responsibility while modeling a high level of ethics and professionalism.

COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES

Respect his/her commitment to the school and be present at all scheduled practices and competitions. Responsible for following the policies and procedures as defined in the coach's handbook. Train prospective student-athletes, conduct and supervise effective volleyball practices and activities, and maintain accurate equipment and inventory. Demonstrate superior organizational and motivational abilities, as well as the ability to provide clear instructions. Continuously monitor student-athletes' progress and success in the classroom and throughout the season. Collaborate with Team Parents to provide a positive experience for all student-athletes and foster team bonding. Communicate with the Athletic Director on all team matters and games/tournaments. Work with the athletic training staff to develop returning back-to-play protocols for injured student-athletes. Please contact Athletic Director, Pat Scarpello with interest at athletics@aose.info.
