Job Description

Sussex County Community College is seeking 7 new Part Time Assistant Football Coaches for the 26-27 Season. PT Assistant Football Coach Quarterback PT Assistant Football Coach Defensive Line PT Assistant Football Coach Offensive Line PT Assistant Football Coach Running Back PT Assistant Coach Football Defensive Coordinator / Strength & Conditioning PT Assistant Coach Football Secondary PT Assistant Coach Football Outside Backer /
Safeties Main Duties:
Assist the head coach in conducting practice, including the running of drills, teaching techniques, and instructing in a manner consistent with the head coach's philosophies. Assist head coach in evaluating both individual and team talents regarding recruiting and opposing teams/players. Collaborate with a head coach with in-game information such as strategy, statistics, and game management as requested by the head coach. Must be able to act as a liaison between head coach and players. Transport student-athletes to and from games and practices if needed. Be prepared to conduct the duties of the head coach in the event of his/her absence. Have a solid background in that sport and a willingness to accept new ideas and philosophies. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to students. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous playing/coaching of football preferred. Knowledge of rules associated with sports is required. A valid driver's license is required Rate - $6,000 for the season Sussex County Community College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
